I have one year of hands-on experience working in automotive service at a well-established Toyota dealership. During this time, I gained valuable exposure to various aspects of vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, and repair. Working in this professional environment allowed me to develop key technical skills while also learning about the importance of customer satisfaction, teamwork, and efficiency.

I had the opportunity to work on a wide range of Toyota models, which gave me practical experience with different vehicle systems including wheels and tires, brakes, suspensions, and steering components. Additionally, I’ve developed an awareness of proper safety procedures and the importance of adhering to manufacturer guidelines and specifications to ensure high-quality service.

To complement my practical experience, I have recently completed my Level 1 Automotive Technician training at the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT). This intensive program provided a robust foundation in automotive technology and equipped me with theoretical knowledge, hands-on training, and best practices for diagnosing and repairing modern vehicles. The curriculum covered essential topics such as engine systems, electrical systems, drivetrain components, and proper use of diagnostic equipment.

Having completed this program, I am now better prepared to tackle complex challenges in the automotive service industry, and I am eager to expand my expertise while contributing to the success of my team.

• I worked as a mechanic at a Toyota dealership for 6 months.

• I worked as a Foreman on a roofing crew.

• I've received my full high school diploma.
• I got a 95% in the automotive mechanic course and a 92% in the basic metalwork course learning how to weld, cut metal and perform basic metal working skills.

British Columbia Institute of Technology, Burnaby — Apprentice Level 1
• September 2025 - Present, Finishing October 31st
• I am currently attending BCIT for the Automotive Apprenticeship course.
• The course started Sept. 15 and will end Oct. 31.
• I currently have an overall grade of 90% and predict I will do well on the SLE exam.
• I am extracting lots of knowledge from this course and am very excited to apply all of the new skills I have learned to work.
